My family are techies. They love to buy smartphones, tablets and occasional laptops. Recently, we decided to upgrade our tablet (the one we have was an orignal iPad which we bought in 2010) to the latest one. We were contemplating whether to buy an iPad Air 2 or the latest Samsung S series tablet. We went to our local shopping mall, which is within walking distance from our home. We went to the Challenger store because my husband is a Challenger's member and we could accumulate reward points. The salesperson was a nice chap who introduced us to the different tablets (including brands such as Sony). At the end of the day, we chose Samsung tablet because really you couldn't tell much different among the Apple and Samsung tablets, and the price of the Samsung tablet is cheaper. We also love to shop for gadgets while we are travelling overseas, whether for leisure or for work. However, most of the time, we ended not buying the gadgets there because we realised that it is in fact cheaper to buy them in Singapore!
