I have been consuming glucosamine for many years to ensure that my health is maintained. The pharmacist has advised that eating glucosamine will improve one's health and well being. For glucosamine it is more of ensuring my joints, especially my knees will not deteriorated as I get older. Previously my knees tend to hurt when I climb the stairs or walk for a long period. My parents also faced the same problem and their doctor has prescribed glucosamine to them. By consuming glucosamine, I find that my knee pain has greatly reduced. It is like a vitamin for knee pain. Although it has been said that eating glucosamine has not been proven to reduce knee pain, at least it can have a positive psychological effect on the one who is eating it. Most importantly, it has not been proven that it has any negative effect if consumed. If the latter has been proven one day, I will stop consuming it immediately.
