I lived in a apartment in singapore which is largely prevalent in my country. It is mostly surrounded by concrete buildings all around my place, largely away from the nature in a city. However, there are still gardens and parks near my place which makes up for the lack of nature. The life living in such a place sometimes tend to feel cramped and stifled. My neighbours are foreigners from china, the relationship is alright as we tend to engage in small conversations. I like the close proximity of my place to transportation networks such as trains and buses. However, I think living in hdb flats are not a very conducive environment for kids to grow up in, they need to engage with the nature more.
